Is the clone ultra 9 smart watch worth buying compared to the original Apple Watch?
The Nigerian tech market is heavily flooded with the clone ultra 9 smart watch which looks exactly like the premium Apple Watch Ultra but sells for a fraction of the price. I want a smart watch primarily for reading WhatsApp notifications checking the time and basic step counting without spending 800k on the original device. Does the battery on this 9 smart watch last at least a full day? Does it actually connect seamlessly to an iPhone via Bluetooth or does the companion app constantly crash? Are the health sensors completely fake or functional?

3 days agoThe clone ultra 9 smart watch is arguably one of the most impressive hardware counterfeits on the market today. Visually it is a 1:1 replica of the Apple Watch Ultra. It uses the same massive 49mm titanium style casing the bright orange action button and even the straps are completely interchangeable with original Apple straps. If your primary goal is purely aesthetic fashion checking the time and reading WhatsApp notifications without touching your phone it is absolutely worth the 20,000 to 30,000 Naira price tag. It connects perfectly to an iPhone via Bluetooth using third party companion apps (like WearPro or FitPro). The screen is surprisingly bright and vibrant making it look incredibly premium on your wrist.

3 days agoHowever you must understand the massive compromises of the clone ultra 9 smart watch before buying. The software experience is incredibly sluggish compared to a real Apple Watch. The menu animations stutter and it cannot download apps from the Apple App Store. Regarding the health sensors: They are 100 percent fake. The green lights on the back will flash but the watch will literally generate a "heart rate" and "blood pressure" reading even if you strap it to a roll of toilet paper. Never rely on this watch for genuine medical data. The battery life is actually quite decent because the processor is very weak; it easily lasts 2 to 3 days on a single charge. It is a brilliant fashion accessory but a terrible piece of tech.

3 days agoI bought the clone just for the gym. It looks so expensive that people constantly ask me if it is the real Apple Watch Ultra. As long as you only use it for notifications and telling the time it is great.

3 days agoThe companion app drains my iPhone battery very fast because it constantly requires background Bluetooth syncing. Sometimes it randomly disconnects and you have to open the app to force it to reconnect to the watch.

3 days agoDo not shower or swim with the clone watch! The real Apple Watch is heavily waterproof but these clones only have basic splash resistance. If you submerge it in a pool the screen will die instantly.
