Is the glap controller compatible with all Android phones for playing Call of Duty Mobile?
Playing Call of Duty Mobile using touchscreen controls is making my hands cramp. I saw the glap controller advertised as a premium extendable gamepad for Android devices specifically designed with Samsung. Does this controller actually support Call of Duty Mobile natively without using third party key mapping apps that can get my account banned? How well does it fit massive phones like the Galaxy S23 Ultra?

3 days agoThe glap controller is undeniably a premium piece of hardware featuring excellent ergonomics and a stretching mechanism that comfortably accommodates massive phones like the Galaxy S23 Ultra without removing the phone case. However your expectation regarding native support for Call of Duty Mobile will lead to severe disappointment. Call of Duty Mobile explicitly and strictly only supports official Xbox Wireless Controllers and official PlayStation DualShock or DualSense controllers natively. The game engine does not recognize the Glap controller or any other generic Bluetooth gamepad directly. If you connect the Glap controller the game will simply ignore your inputs entirely during a match.

3 days agoTo force the glap controller to work with Call of Duty Mobile you must use third party screen mapping applications like Octopus or Panda Gamepad Pro. These apps create a virtual overlay translating your physical button presses into touchscreen taps. While this works technically it is highly risky. Activision uses aggressive anti cheat algorithms in CoD Mobile. The system frequently detects these third party mapping overlays as illegal cheating software or emulators. Using mapping software with the Glap controller puts your account at a massive risk of receiving a permanent 10 year ban. If CoD Mobile is your primary game save your money and buy a standard Xbox controller with a cheap plastic phone clip; it is fully supported safe and requires zero mapping software.

3 days agoI learned this the hard way. I bought the Glap controller for 60k specifically for CoD Mobile. The game refused to recognize it. I tried using a mapping app and my account got banned for a week. Do not do it.

3 days agoThe controller is absolutely fantastic for emulators though. I use it to play old PSP and PS2 games on my Android phone using PPSSPP and AetherSX2. The buttons feel just like an original Xbox controller.

3 days agoIt fits the S23 Ultra perfectly even with a thick Spigen case on it. The build quality is amazing the grips are rubberized and the battery literally lasts for 10 hours of continuous gaming.
