I swapped my iPhone X for an XR last year. I missed the OLED screen for exactly two days. After realizing I did not have to charge the XR three times a day I never looked back.

The iPhone X looks way more expensive and premium. The XR feels like a toy because of the aluminum edges and thick borders. If fashion and status are important to you get the X.

The XR also receives newer iOS updates because of the A12 chip. The iPhone X is permanently stuck on iOS 16. The XR will stay relevant for apps much longer.
