What is a realistic iphone xr used price to pay directly from a Nigerian end user?
I want to completely bypass the greedy dealers in Computer Village and buy directly from someone upgrading their phone on Jiji or Twitter. What is a realistic iphone xr used price to negotiate for a Nigerian used 64GB unit? Because it is Nigerian used what specific damages like charging port looseness or cracked back glass should I aggressively inspect before doing a bank transfer to a stranger?

2 days agoBypassing dealers to negotiate a realistic iphone xr used price directly with a Nigerian end user on platforms like Jiji is a great way to save money. A fair price for a Nigerian used 64GB iPhone XR directly from an owner is between 120,000 and 145,000 Naira depending heavily on the physical condition. Because the phone has survived the Nigerian environment you must inspect it aggressively. The number one failure point on a Nigerian used iPhone is the Lightning charging port. Over years of use lint and dust get jammed into the port. When you meet the seller plug in a charging cable and wiggle it slightly. If the cable feels loose or the charging connection drops the internal pins are damaged or severely compacted with dirt.

2 days agoThe second critical inspection for a Nigerian used iPhone XR is the glass back and camera lens. Because it supports wireless charging the back is entirely made of glass. Check carefully around the edges of the camera bump for hairline cracks. If the back glass is cracked DO NOT buy it. A cracked back glass ruins the water resistance completely meaning a sweaty hand or high humidity can send moisture directly to the motherboard causing catastrophic failure. Also test the earpiece speaker by making a phone call; many users use their phones in dusty environments causing the top speaker grill to clog completely making calls sound incredibly faint. Always meet the seller in a very public busy place like a mall food court before transferring any money.

2 days agoI bought my XR from a guy on Twitter for 130k. It had a few scratches on the screen but it came with the original box and receipt. Buying direct is great but always insist on meeting in a safe public place.

2 days agoCheck the microphone! Open the Voice Memos app and record yourself speaking. Nigerian used phones often have blown bottom microphones because people aggressively blow air into the speakers to clean dust out which destroys the sensitive mic membrane.
