What is the price of a remote controlled digital hymn board for a large church?
Our church wants to upgrade from the old wooden boards to a modern bright electronic display. We specifically want a massive digital hymn board with 5 rows that the choir master can control wirelessly from his seat using an RF remote or a mobile app. What is the current market price for this type of customized LED board in Nigeria?

2 days agoInstalling a massive 5 row digital hymn board completely transforms the worship experience in a large church ensuring even the elderly members at the far back can see the numbers clearly. For a custom built large scale LED display the price typically ranges between 250,000 and 450,000 Naira. This price depends heavily on the size of the LED digits (usually 6 inches or 8 inches tall) and the brightness quality of the diodes. You want ultra bright red or amber LEDs that remain perfectly visible even when the church auditorium lights are fully turned on or sunlight hits the board directly.

2 days agoThe control mechanism is where modern technology shines. You no longer need to run a long ugly physical cable from the board to the choir stand. The best digital hymn boards now feature advanced wireless RF (Radio Frequency) controllers or customized Bluetooth modules. A dedicated RF remote acts like a mini keyboard allowing the choir master to simply type "Hymn 450" and hit enter updating the board instantly from 100 meters away. Some premium local fabricators in Ikeja or Alaba even build custom Android apps allowing the media team to control the hymn numbers directly from a tablet or smartphone. Ensure the vendor provides a massive voltage stabilizer specifically for the board to protect the sensitive LED drivers from NEPA power surges.

2 days agoDo not buy the cheap imported ones with infrared remotes. Infrared requires a direct line of sight just like a TV remote. If someone stands in front of the choir master the remote will not work. You absolutely must buy one with an RF (Radio Frequency) remote.

2 days agoAsk the fabricator to include an automatic dimming feature. When we hold night vigils the ultra bright red LEDs were practically blinding people in the dark. A good board should have a button to lower the brightness at night.
