Where can I buy a genuine fireproof trunk for storing land documents?
I have several highly sensitive original land documents and certificates that I must protect at all costs. I do not want to use a bank safety deposit box. I need a heavy duty safe or fireproof trunk that can survive a severe house fire for at least two hours without the papers inside burning to ash. Where can I buy certified fireproof safes in Lagos?

2 days agoMake sure you bolt the safe to the concrete floor or the wall! A fireproof trunk is useless if armed robbers just pick up the entire box and drive away with it. Genuine safes come with heavy duty anchor bolts for this exact reason.

2 days agoBe careful with moisture. Because fireproof safes are airtight to prevent oxygen from feeding a fire they tend to trap moisture inside. Buy silica gel packets and throw them inside the trunk to prevent your important documents from growing mold over the years.
